Many owners will encounter this problem. Their pet dogs will run away quietly as soon as they go out, and they will not come back no matter how they are called. Why does such a problem occur? The main reason is that when the dog is not completely dependent on the owner, the owner takes the dog out, and the dog is attracted by new things in the outside world and wanders around.

1. Two methods of recall training:

Method 1: You can use a relatively long rope to tie the leash, let the dog play freely, and then the owner issues the "come" command to the dog. If the dog does not come over, the owner can slowly pull the dog to his side. At this time, the pulling action must be gentle and not rough. When the dog returns to its owner, the owner must give the dog food or caresses, and the owner must provide sufficient encouragement. Then, gradually increase the length of the rope until the dog can quickly return to its owner without having to pull the rope to give the "come" command. Your training is successful.

Method 2: The safe distance between some dogs and their owners is relatively far. You can hide the dogs secretly when they are having fun. After a while, the dogs will become very anxious if they cannot find their owners. You can let the dog worry for a while, and then the owner gives the "come" command to the dog, and the dog will quickly return to the owner. Also give him sufficient encouragement, so that the dog will not always run so far in the future.

2. Two points to note when recalling:

When the owner calls the dog and the dog does not come back, the owner is very likely to make the following two mistakes:

The first mistake: chasing. Because the owner is afraid that the dog will be lost, chasing the dog may cause two misconceptions about the dog: ① The dog may think that the owner is playing a game with it and run faster and faster; ② Sometimes the dog will be caught The owner's sudden action frightens the dog, and when the owner calls the dog again in the future, the dog will run further and further out of fear.

The second mistake: reprimand. When owners use food, toys or other methods to call the dog to their side, they often reprimand it out of anxiety. In this way, the dog will quickly lose interest in returning to the owner, and it will greatly affect the affinity between the owner and the dog. relation.
