Tonsillitis is a common disease in dogs. It is divided into acute and chronic tonsillitis according to its process, and primary and secondary tonsillitis according to its etiology.

Symptoms of infected tonsils:

How to treat tonsillitis:

1. It is necessary to determine the cause of chronic vomiting or coughing. First check whether there is any foreign body in the throat

2. The foreign body will be removed and then treated with antibiotics.

3. If dental disease is a problem, professional dental cleanings and other procedures as well as antibiotics may be needed.

4. Canine tonsils are lymphoid tissue, so it is important to fight against diseases. It should not be removed except as a last resort.
