Causes and solutions for guppy bowing:

1. Frightened. It may be that she was frightened. It is more common that the female guppy is suddenly frightened during birth or frightened after giving birth. If she does not recover well, she will collapse her waist. Keepers need to keep the surrounding environment comfortable, try to avoid being frightened again, and allow them to recover on their own. During the treatment period, the breeder must ensure adequate food and maintain a stable environment.

2. Malnutrition. It is possible that the guppies were malnourished during their growth and development, resulting in stunted growth. If the breeders do not give them enough food and nutrients during their golden period of growth and development, they will suffer from calcium deficiency or other trace elements. Calcium deficiency can easily deform the guppy's spine and cause it to bow. Breeders need to keep them in isolation and feed them some nutritious food. If the calcium deficiency is serious, you can add quicklime to the soy milk and feed it to the guppies.

3. Too old. It may be because they are too old. Guppies around 10 years old will enter old age, and most older guppies will have a bowed waist. This is a normal physiological phenomenon.

4. Disease: When guppies suffer from bacterial infections, parasites, fungi and other diseases, they may show a hunched posture. Check the water quality and make appropriate adjustments, maintain sufficient dissolved oxygen and water temperature, and maintain water quality within a suitable range; at the same time, take cleaning measures;

5. Carrying pathogens: Guppies may carry pathogens, such as parasitism Parasitic worm infection, etc., which can lead to physical discomfort and bowing; prevent and treat diseases. When guppies are found to be sick, they should be examined as soon as possible or ask a doctor for assistance in treatment.
