Methods for dealing with fading guppies:

1. Maintain the water temperature. As a tropical fish, it can survive in an environment of 20-30℃. If the temperature is too high or too low, it may become uncomfortable and the color will become lighter and lighter. This fish usually requires a heating rod to maintain the water temperature.

2. Maintain water quality. If guppies live in an environment with poor water quality, their color will become lighter and lighter. In order to maintain water quality, it is generally necessary to prepare a filter, which can keep the water flowing and slow down its deterioration. If there is no filter, the water must be changed in time, about a quarter each time.

3. Balanced nutrition. If the food that is usually fed to guppies is not good, it will also lead to malnutrition. Generally, it is good to use purchased fish feed, which is not only suitable for the mouth but also nutritionally balanced. If possible, you can also feed some fish and insects, but it must be processed, otherwise bacteria and parasites may be introduced.

4. Increase lighting. The growth of guppies also requires a certain amount of light. If the light is insufficient, its body color will also be affected. Usually do not place it in a sunny place. You can use special lamps to supplement the light. The lighting time is about 6-8 hours a day. If it is too long, it will easily lead to an algae outbreak.

5. Rest. The fading phenomenon of guppies is mostly caused by being frightened. Just put it in a quiet environment and rest for a period of time, and its color will recover.
