Methods to deal with dystocia for guppies:

1. Increase the water flow. You can increase the stimulation of the water flow or add new water to make the female fish move. This often helps to give birth when the female fish suddenly jumps up and down.

2. Proper heating. You can put a heating rod in the fish tank to properly heat the water temperature, then take out the heating rod and wait for the water temperature to return to normal. Repeat this several times, which can also stimulate the production of female fish.

3. Manufacturing conditions. A constant water temperature (22°C to 24°C) and stable water quality (guppies are suitable for growth and reproduction in weakly alkaline water) are important conditions to avoid dystocia for guppies.

4. Squeeze the fish belly. Raise the female fish in isolation, gently hold and squeeze its abdomen, and squeeze it gently from head to tail. Just squeeze out a few small fry, and then the female peacock fish will give birth independently.

5. Perform laparotomy in time. If the female fish really cannot give birth to baby fish, she can only use caesarean section. Otherwise, the baby fish will not be able to give birth, and the female fish itself will be harmed or even die.
