Flower hamster recognizes its owner. Although flower hamsters have poor memory and vision and are very wary of things, they are particularly sensitive to smells and can remember their owners through smells. Flower hamsters are very timid and find it difficult to recognize their owners. However, if the owner often accompanies the flower hamster and often feeds it, then the flower hamster will be able to get close to the owner after becoming familiar with the owner's scent.

How to make a flower hamster recognize its owner:

1. Feed food at a fixed time. The owner feeds the flower hamster at a fixed time every day. Don't overfeed the flower hamster. Just let the flower hamster eat seven full meals. You can let the flower hamster take the initiative to run out to eat at each feeding point.

2. Get close to the flower hamster. Put the flower hamster's food in the palm of your hand and in the cage, and the flower hamster can eat from your hands. When the flower hamster eats on the hand, gently remove the hand from the cage. If the flower hamster still eats the food without panic, you can start to train the flower hamster to crawl on the owner's hand. If the owner can hold the flower hamster and take it out of the cage, and allows the flower hamster to sleep on his hand, it means that the flower hamster has full trust.

3. Name the flower hamster. The name given to the flower hamster by the owner should be simple. Every time you feed or play with the flower hamster, call it gently so that the flower hamster can form a simple conditioned reflex.
