The lizard cannot recognize its owner. Because lizards are cold-blooded animals, they generally do not have the ability to recognize their owners. If the owner spends a long time with them and feeds them with his own hands every time, the cat will gradually become familiar with the owner's smell and movements, form a conditioned reflex, gradually become familiar with the owner, accept the owner's feeding, and will not attack. The owner will also take the initiative to approach when the owner approaches.

How to raise lizards:

1. Activity place. You need to prepare a container with a larger volume for it first, with at least one side 2.5 times the length of the lizard. The specific preparation can be based on the size of the pet lizard. Put some rocks and some sand in the container, and plant some plants to give the lizard a place to hide and rest. You also need to place a water basin. Some lizards not only need to drink water, but also need regular baths.

2. Food. Different species of lizards can be determined based on the food habits of the lizard. Most lizards eat meat, so you can prepare them with insects such as cockroaches, mealworms, and earthworms sold in the market. However, lizard species that eat both plants, such as skinks, American iguanas, and water dragons, do not eat meat. You can prepare vegetables and fruits for them. You don’t need to feed your lizard very frequently, it can be once a day or once every two days. If the lizard is relatively young and grows and develops quickly, it can be fed twice a day.

3. Temperature. Lizards are cold-blooded animals and are relatively sensitive to temperature. It is very important to keep the surrounding temperature suitable. The ambient temperature must be above 38°C for at least ten hours a day. Therefore, it is very important for lizards raised at home to increase their temperature and try to keep the environment temperature above 35 degrees Celsius. You can install an idiot lamp in the environment where the lizard lives, which can illuminate and heat it.
