3. Place the snapping turtle in a place with stable temperature to hibernate. The temperature during hibernation should not be lower than 6℃.

4. Snapping turtles are more sensitive to light after entering hibernation, and keepers need to place them in a dark place. If they are exposed to strong light, they may wake up from hibernation.

5. Two months before hibernation, snapping turtles need to feed more fat-rich foods such as meat paste, egg yolks, small fish, shrimps, etc., and stop feeding one week before hibernation to clean the intestines.
