The breeder can hang a watering can in the cage, fill the bottle with pure water, and then pour the water next to the parrot. The parrot will come over to soak up the water and clean its hair. After washing the budgie, let it dry naturally. Keepers should not use a hair dryer on it to avoid frightening the budgie.

What should you pay attention to when bathing a parrot:

1. The parrot does not need to be bathed too frequently, just once a week. If the temperature is high in summer, the breeder can appropriately increase the number of baths to achieve the cooling effect.

2. It is recommended to bathe the budgerigar on a sunny day, which can dry the parrot's feathers faster and avoid catching cold.

3. It is not recommended to bathe the parrot in water in winter. You can prepare some bath sand for the parrot to take a sand bath.
