Notes on bathing budgerigars:

1. It is recommended to bathe budgerigars on a sunny day, so that the parrot’s feathers can dry out faster. Avoid catching cold.

2. It is not recommended to use a hair dryer after the parrot takes a bath, otherwise the parrot will be easily frightened. Just wait for it to dry on its own.

3. The budgerigar does not need to be bathed too frequently, just once a week. If the temperature is high in summer, the breeder can appropriately increase the number of baths to achieve the effect of cooling down and relieving the heat. When the temperature is low, water washing is not recommended. You can prepare some bath sand for the parrot to take a sand bath.

What should you pay attention to when bathing your budgerigar in winter:

1. The weather is relatively cold in winter, so try to bathe your parrot when the weather is sunny and the temperature is high.

2. When bathing a parrot in winter, you must use warm water. Do not use very hot water, which can easily cause a large temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. Using warm water can prevent the feathers from catching a cold after they dry.

3. The best time to bathe a parrot in winter is at noon when there is sufficient sunshine. The indoor temperature should be controlled above 20 degrees during bathing to avoid catching a cold after bathing.
