How to raise newly hatched turtles:

1. Raise them alone. Small turtle hatchlings should be raised alone. If they are too small and mixed with large turtles, they may be eaten.

2. Keep warm. After hatching and climbing out of the egg shell, the baby turtle should not go into the water for a week. The baby turtle is very fragile at this time. Pay attention to keeping the baby turtle warm. The breeding temperature should be kept at about 20 degrees Celsius.

3. Fasting. The baby turtle cannot eat when it first hatches. The energy and nutrients required for growth and development are entirely provided by the yolk.

4. Feed after one week. Generally, a small turtle can eat slowly in about a week. At the beginning, it should be fed with some cooked egg yolks, red worms, lean pork mince, etc. It should not be fed with very hard feed to avoid indigestion. The little turtle has weak mobility and should not be fed too much. It is recommended to feed it three times a day. The amount of each feeding should be determined according to the size of the little turtle's head.

5. Avoid hibernation. It is best not to let young turtles hibernate in winter. Hibernation can easily cause diseases and consume a lot of physical strength.
