Tadpoles do not recognize their owners. Tadpoles are cold-blooded animals. They will not remember their owners, but will produce some conditioned reflexes due to their owners' feeding. And it won't take long for tadpoles to evolve into frogs or toads. Therefore, even if they are raised for a long time, tadpoles will not develop feelings for their owners like cats and dogs.

Precautions for raising tadpoles

1. Tadpoles eat plankton. It is best to use pond water to raise tadpoles. Tap water is not suitable, nor is pure water.

2. Tadpoles will kill each other. When they are together, they will secrete some toxins, killing some individuals, and even allowing the remaining individuals to survive better in a limited environment.

3. The feed of tadpoles should be mainly plant food. Boiled spinach and spinach are suitable feeds, but do not overcook them and remove the fiber.

4. The remaining feed after each feeding must be removed with a straw. The simplest bait is crumbs of bread, biscuits or rice grains. You can also give a small amount of cooked egg yolk as animal feed.

5. Change the water once every 3 to 5 days. When changing the water, you only need to pour out 2/3 of the water, and then add aerated tap water to the original position.
