Pet frogs will not recognize their owners. Pet frogs are cold-blooded animals with no self-awareness and low IQ. They will not recognize their owners. However, because pet frogs have relatively developed senses, long-term feeding will make the pet familiar with the owner's smell and movements, accept the owner's feeding, and feel familiar with the owner.

Notes on raising pet frogs

1. The suitable temperature for frog growth is 20 to 30°C. When the temperature drops below 10°C, feeding and activity gradually weaken, and the temperature decreases. Hibernation begins when the temperature falls below 5°C. Activity decreases significantly when the water temperature exceeds 32°C. Frogs will die one after another when the temperature exceeds 35°C.

2. Frog skin has no organizational structure to protect the evaporation of water in the body. It is obviously not enough to rely solely on the mucus secreted by the skin glands to maintain the humidity of the body surface. Therefore, the habitat requires both a pond and a water pond. A warm and humid environment with overgrown weeds is required.

3. Frogs lie dormant during the day and come out at night. They are afraid of direct sunlight, but prefer weak light. Light can promote metabolism, growth and reproduction of frogs. If they live in the dark for a long time, their gonads will be difficult to develop and mature. It may even stop egg production and sperm ejaculation.

4. Frog tadpoles require a higher amount of dissolved oxygen in frog pond waters, which generally meet fishery water quality standards. Although adult frogs and young frogs use their lungs to breathe, the dissolved oxygen in the water is high. It still has a good effect, the pH is suitable at 7-8, and the salinity is generally not higher than 2.
