California king snakes will not recognize their owners. California king snakes are cold-blooded animals that sense the outside world through heat sensing. At the same time, California king snakes also have poor eyesight and cannot see the external environment clearly and therefore cannot recognize their owners. However, it will detect the chemical molecules around it by spitting messages, so that it will remember the people who often feed it, and will not behave aggressively during the feeding and contact process.

How to raise California king snakes:

1. Use a closed breeding box. If you have good financial conditions, you can purchase a professional snake breeding incubator. But no matter what, the box needs to be closed. This is also for safety reasons, after all, snakes are not the type of pets that can be kept free-range.

2. Control the temperature. Snakes are cold-blooded animals, so generally they need an external heat source to regulate their body temperature. When the temperature drops below 15 degrees, snakes will stop eating. When the temperature drops below 10 degrees, snakes will start to hibernate. Therefore, in order for pets to be active at ordinary times, a heating pad or an incubator is necessary.
