The dangers of cryptorchidism

The probability of cryptorchidism becoming cancerous is much higher than that of normal testicles. Under normal circumstances, the testicles are located in the scrotum. There are contractile muscles in the scrotum that are connected to the testicles, and their main function is to lift and lower them. Testicles, which regulate the environmental temperature of the testicles. Under normal circumstances, the temperature required by the testicles is slightly lower than the body temperature, which is beneficial to the development of sperm. However, when cryptorchidism occurs, the temperature of the testicles cannot be adjusted, and the temperature inside the body is higher than outside the body, causing the temperature of the environment where the testicles work to become higher. This leads to poor sperm development in the cryptorchidism and the testicles are prone to cancer.
Cryptorchidism develops lesions and secretes hormones, causing external healthy testicles to also develop lesions, and at this time, fertility is lost. And due to disorders in sex hormone levels, it can lead to a series of pathological changes throughout the body, such as hair loss all over the body, thinning of the skin, and genital atrophy. Those with a longer course of disease can cause prostate cysts. When testicular cancer becomes cancerous, if the diseased testicles are not surgically removed in time, it can cause severe hematopoietic dysfunction, anemia, poor blood coagulation, etc. When cancer spreads, it can be life-threatening.
