▼High fever: When the dog’s body temperature rises, the body will feel cold and shiver. In winter, the kennel should be thickened and a hot water bottle should be placed if necessary. The kennel should be sealed to prevent cold wind from entering and cool down in time (such as wiping the body with alcohol, etc.).

▼Vomiting: Dogs are prone to vomiting. If there are no other abnormalities after vomiting, there is no need to worry. Some dogs will eat the vomit immediately after vomiting, which is not a serious problem. If you vomit many times a day, want to drink water after vomiting, and then vomit after drinking, you need to pay attention because this is a sign of a worsening condition and seek medical attention immediately.

▼Loss of appetite or food waste: You need to replenish water in time. You can use a straw or syringe to inject liquid food from the corner of your mouth. Or make the minced meat into a ball and push it in with your fingers to force it to swallow (be careful not to be bitten by the dog).

▼Diarrhea: Stop eating for one day, then slowly resume eating, eat small meals frequently, and resume normal eating after recovery.

▼Excessive eye droppings: You can soak absorbent cotton with 2% boric acid solution and wipe it clean. Feed more fruits and vegetables and reduce the supply of meat. If the eye droppings are purulent, please consult a local veterinarian. Check for the cause.

▼Skin diseases: To prevent sick dogs from licking topical medications, you can also use an anti-licking collar (you can make one out of cardboard). When giving topical medicine to dogs, don’t just apply it on the coat. Apply it with appropriate force. It is the medicine that acts on the skin, so that better results can be achieved.
