1. If the diarrhea lasts for more than 24 hours, the cat may be under one year old or over ten years old, or if the cat also shows signs of vomiting in addition to diarrhea, it is necessary to find a veterinarian immediately. examine.

2. If the diarrhea is bloody (whether the blood is bright red or black with bruises), you must take it to the veterinarian immediately for examination.

3. Check whether the color of the cat’s body membrane and dehydration are normal. If any abnormalities are found, seek veterinary treatment.

4. Bring any items that may cause diarrhea in dogs (such as new food, new toys, etc.) to the veterinarian for analysis.

5. Temporarily switch to feeding high fiber, low fat, mild food. Or if you make your own food, you should use skinless, fatless, and boneless chicken as food for dogs and cats. Because these diets can control cat diarrhea, they must not be used to provide cats with adequate nutritional needs for a long time. When the cat's diarrhea improves after two to three days of feeding such a meal, the cat's usual food should be gradually added back to its meal. After about a week, the cat can resume eating its original meal content. .

6. To avoid excessive dehydration of dogs and cats with diarrhea, sufficient water should be prepared for them to drink.

7. Dogs and cats with diarrhea must be given antidiarrheal drugs after diagnosis and treatment by a veterinarian.
