Dogs are several times faster than humans

The speed of dogs is twice that of humans. The human world record for 100 meters is 9 seconds 58, which is approximately 37.578 kilometers per hour. It was set by world sprint champion Usain Bolt. The fastest running dog in the world is the Greyhound, which can run at a speed of more than 60 kilometers per hour and up to 70 kilometers per hour, which is about twice the running speed of humans.

The general running speed of dogs:

1. Small dogs: the average running speed is about 20 kilometers per hour;

2. Medium-sized dogs: the average running speed is 25-30 kilometers per hour;

3. Large dogs: the average running speed is 35-40 kilometers per hour;

4. Hounds: the average running speed is 50-40 kilometers per hour 60 kilometers, the fastest greyhound can run up to 70 kilometers per hour;

5. Shepherd: the average running speed is about 40 kilometers per hour;

6. Sled Dog: The average running speed is 40-50 kilometers per hour. It has excellent endurance and can run for hundreds of kilometers at most.
