Spring is here, and it’s time to vaccinate your dog. Novice parents, come here. Today I will explain to you some knowledge about dog vaccines. Whether you have a dog or a cat at home, don’t forget it. Go vaccinate them. This is responsible for their health.

1. Which vaccine is best to choose?

There are currently two types of vaccines on the market, domestic and imported. Although the imported ones are expensive, the general domestic vaccines can only guarantee the effectiveness of epidemic prevention for half a year. Not only do they need to be administered twice a year, but some vaccines will lose part of their effectiveness when exposed to high temperatures. Therefore, if economic conditions permit, it is safer to take imported vaccines.

2. Can vaccines of the same brand be mixed?

If you cannot find the brand of vaccine used in the first immunization for your dog during the second immunization, you can use other brands of vaccines instead.

3. Is it necessary to calculate the amount of vaccine required based on the dog’s weight?

no. Regardless of the size of the dog, only one dose is injected for each vaccination, and the dose of the vaccine has nothing to do with body weight.

4. Vaccination schedule

Injecting vaccines must strictly follow the immunization schedule set by the doctor. Injecting vaccines too early will not only not protect the puppy’s health, but will destroy the efficacy of maternal antibodies and have the opposite effect.
