To train a dog to go to the toilet, you need to prepare the dog toilet, understand the rules of the dog going to the toilet, guide it, coexist with rewards and punishments, and start educating the dog when it is young.

Steps to train a dog to go to the toilet:

Prepare newspapers or a special dog toilet. It is recommended to buy a good dog toilet, which is relatively simple, hygienic and easy to clean. Place newspapers or dog toilets in the corner of the toilet in a more conspicuous position to prevent the dog from finding its own toilet, and do not place it very close to the eating area. The dog will instinctively hate this toilet. Generally, dogs will urinate and defecate a few minutes after eating. Look for the pattern of your own dog's urination and defecation. When the dog needs to go to the toilet, lead the dog to a fixed place to go to the toilet. After the dog does so, reward him with snacks. Repeat training multiple times. Punish it if it doesn't defecate as directed, but don't frighten it too much.

In the early stage of training, you can put the dog’s diaper on the toilet. When the dog goes there next time, it will smell your own scent and go there by itself. Remove the diaper after the dog develops a habit. That’s it. Provide step-by-step education, don’t rush for success, and let the dog develop good habits on its own.
