Precautions for cat vaccination:

1. Do not bathe for two weeks before and after vaccination. If the cat has a cold, sneezing, runny nose, or is in a bad mood, Vaccination is not allowed.

2. Generally, after vaccination, the doctor will tell the owner not to take the cat away in a hurry, but to stay in the hospital for about half an hour. Owners should not take it seriously. Staying in the hospital for a while is to ensure that the cat will not have severe reactions such as allergies after being vaccinated. If there is any accident, the doctor can treat the cat in time.

3. Do not bathe the cat within ten days after vaccination. Unless there are special circumstances, avoid taking your cat out. Because it takes about a week for cats to form antibodies in their bodies after being vaccinated. During this period, the cat’s resistance is still relatively weak.

4. Cats that are pregnant or have just given birth are weak and cannot be vaccinated immediately. Injecting vaccines at this time can easily lead to miscarriage in cats, and female cats that have just given birth are also in poor physical condition. Wait until the cat recovers before being vaccinated.

Adverse reactions to cat vaccination:

1. Slight painless swelling sometimes occurs at the recent vaccination site. This should go away within a few weeks. If it persists, it may mean that it is developing into a sarcoma and requires timely medical examination and further treatment.

2. Allergic reaction. Common allergic reactions in cats after vaccination include: facial swelling, cold limbs, foaming at the mouth, coma, etc. Severe allergic reactions can even lead to death of cats.
