1. Milk cannot replace dog milk. Many people like to raise unweaned Labrador dogs and then feed them milk. As everyone knows, cows are herbivores, while Labrador dogs are omnivores. Milk and dog milk are different. There is a world of difference. Milk is low in protein, low in fat, high in lactose, high in phosphorus and high potassium, while dog milk is just the opposite, high in protein, high in fat, low in lactose, low in phosphorus and low in potassium. Labradors lack the ability to digest high lactose in their bodies. Without lactase, regular feeding of milk can easily cause diarrhea in Labrador dogs; at the same time, the protein content of milk is only 1/3 of dog milk, and small Labrador dogs cannot get enough nutrition. Labrador dogs that are still in the lactation period have low immunity. Long-term feeding of milk can easily cause the death of Labrador dogs, but most people still don’t know the reason. If the adopted Labrador has passed the lactation period, there should be no problem in this regard. But also note that occasional feeding is best, although our Labradors are interested in the milk they are given.

2. Feeding of Labrador Retrievers Most people think that Labrador Retrievers can eat whatever people eat. This is a common misunderstanding. Generally speaking, the best feeding for Labrador Retrievers is Ready-made dog food, such as French Royal, British A4, Australian Ovega (Bolo's is worse), etc., can occasionally be paired with some fragrant and delicious canned food, which can not only appetize Labradors, but also Can meet the needs of growth. When feeding dog food, it can be supplemented with a small amount of chicken, pork, etc., which is also liked by Labradors.

According to my experience, the following foods should not be given to Labradors:

1. Chili peppers, onions, ginger, garlic, onions and other irritants. These foods can easily reduce the Labrador’s olfactory sensitivity;

2. Seafood, beef and mutton, etc. Long-term consumption can easily cause Labrador dogs to suffer from mite disease. Just like human psoriasis, Labrador dog skin diseases are also difficult to cure;

3. Animal liver. The liver is responsible for detoxification in any animal. Long-term consumption by Labradors will also cause the accumulation of toxins in the body. Occasional feeding can be done, such as chicken liver;

4. Excessive intake of vitamin A, such as carrots;

5. Intake of bones. Many of us think that it is natural for dogs to chew bones. In fact, this is not the case. If the Labrador cannot chew the bones, it can easily cause pharyngitis or even gastric bleeding.
