There are many things that require the owner to observe and pay attention to the Springer Spaniel puppies brought home from childhood. So how to train the Springer Spaniel puppies?

Exercise is a vital part of this growth-reduction plan. An active springer will eat more food and will be more certain that it is getting adequate nutrition. Additionally, its muscle-to-fat ratio will be more favorable, solidifying it as an ideal target for growth-reduction programs. Stronger muscles will properly support the skeletal system with greater coordination to protect itself in the event of injury.

Freestyle running is an appropriate exercise for dogs of any age because it allows them to choose their own pace and level of performance. Of course, this exercise must be done in a safe environment. It may not be possible for everyone to use this as a formal training basis, but it may be used as a special weekend training. It is also feasible to be selective and flexible.

The 8-week-old Springer Springer started by running close to 1/2 mile, 4-5 days a week, and then added about 1/2 mile each week. If you are behind this schedule, please do not jump ahead to catch up. If you've been behind for a long time, go back a few weeks and start again. As discussed below, an exercise level of 3 miles per day will keep your little Springer Spaniel in good shape and health. Of course, like any other form of exercise, be careful if you do it in hot weather; cold weather is not a problem.
