When raising a dog, you should always put some clean water in a fixed location so that it can drink it at any time when it is thirsty, before and after exercise and before and after eating, to prevent it from looking for unclean water to drink. Especially in summer and autumn, when the weather is hot and dry, dogs especially need to drink water to replenish the evaporation of internal water. Starting from puppyhood, if the puppy drinks enough water every day, it can develop normally and have a healthy gastrointestinal health. Otherwise, frequent lack of water can easily lead to many problems, such as heat stroke in summer and poor physical fitness.

Discard the leftover water every day and replace it with fresh boiled water. It’s best to give it distilled water, never raw tap water. If the water contains bacteria or unclean substances, it will definitely have an impact on the puppy's body. Boiled water should not be given to puppies when it is hot to prevent scalding their mouth, throat and tongue. Wait until it cools down before pouring it into a basin of water. Puppies should drink some glucose water every day. The amount should be one to two tablespoons of glucose powder mixed with some distilled water. Although glucose is important to supplement the physical strength of puppies, it should not be excessive, otherwise it will damage the teeth. Sometimes puppies eat unclean things, causing vomiting. You can also feed them some glucose water afterwards. If you have no appetite, you can temporarily eat one or two meals of batter, and drinking water is indispensable.

Dogs must be allowed to drink water as much as they want to maintain their health and reduce diseases. The water in dogs evaporates quickly (most sweat glands are on the tongue), especially active puppies. If it is not replenished as soon as possible, it will easily cause "dehydration" throughout the body. When sick, it is necessary to replenish the water in the dog's body in time to keep the dog's body fully hydrated.

Everyone should know that dogs are thirsty but not hungry. Therefore, sometimes dogs with vomiting and diarrhea can be relieved by fasting for a day or two, but an adequate supply of water must be ensured. When the dog is sick, even if the dog cannot eat, it is necessary to ensure that the dog has sufficient water intake. You can add some glucose to the water. If the dog still refuses to eat within three days, seek medical attention in time.
