In fact, barking is the nature of English Springer Spaniels, but some dogs are more nagging than others. If you have a dog at home that can never be quiet, you might as well try the following training methods.

1. Exercise more: Sufficient amount of exercise can consume the dog's energy. After playing or running all day, the dog would rather have a good sleep than waste energy barking.

2. Chew bones: If there is something that can block the dog's mouth, they will have no time to bark. The more difficult things are to chew, the more challenging they will be. So next time when you are ready to go out, throw them the most. A chewy toy to help them pass the boring time.

3. Use your brain: If your dog has something to do and no time to bark, rub their favorite toys with your hands before going out so that your own scent can stay on it. When the owner cannot be seen, a lonely dog will spend more time looking for the owner's scent on toys and forget about barking.

4. Make some noise: For those more nervous dogs, they will bark non-stop when they hear any disturbance. If you can't completely eliminate the noise in the environment, you might as well create some noise as a distraction. For example, when the postman passes by, he turns on a noisy vacuum cleaner to confuse the dog's hearing.

5. Respond to it: Sometimes the dog keeps barking just to convey a certain message to the owner. If the owner responds appropriately and expresses appreciation, and understands that the task is completed, the dog will naturally shut up!
