Beagles originate from ancient Greek times. This dog was introduced to England in 1066. The British Migru Hound Club was established in 1895 and later landed in the United States. Beagles love to go hunting and sit in front of the fire, making them a loyal companion for those hunting. Originally used for hunting rabbits; now they are used as companions, gun hounds, and chase hounds. The lifespan of a beagle is generally about 13 years.
