Symptoms of plague in cats:

1. The common ones are loss of appetite, depression, enlarged neck, difficulty breathing and coughing.

2. Most infected cats often have fever symptoms.

3. About 50% of infected cats show symptoms such as unilateral or bilateral tonsil enlargement, inferior lymphadenopathy and anterior cervical lymphadenopathy.

4. Cats infected with pneumonic plague often have difficulty breathing, and some may also cough.

Things to note after cats get plague:

1. Although cats are unlikely to die from plague, because cats may produce plague F1 antibodies after being infected with plague. It will heal on its own, but the owner should still pay attention to protective treatment.

2. Treatment of feline plague includes removing fleas, washing abscesses, draining lymph nodes, and treating with fungicides for at least 3 weeks.

3. During the treatment period, all medical staff must wear gloves, masks, and surgical uniforms when operating.
