Bathing a cat is something that makes many cat owners very worried, because cats are basically afraid of water. As long as the owner knows that the owner wants to give it a bath, it will resist with all its strength, and it will jump up and down. By the time you finally catch it, you are already full. The head is sweating profusely, so bathing the cat is also a very tiring task. Is there nothing the owner can do to bathe the cat? In fact, it is not the case. So how can we make the cat obediently listen to the owner to take a bath? This is still a matter of habit. If you train your cat to bathe from an early age, bathing your cat will become a pleasant and enjoyable thing for the owner.

1. Before the kitten takes a bath for the first time in its life, do not let it have a negative impression of water and bathing, such as throwing water on it as a prank to make it feel scared.

2. If a cat who hates bathing is taking a bath, don’t let the cat see that tragic scene!

3. Kittens exposed to water earlier are less likely to reject bathing in the future. Therefore, bathing can be started when they are about two months old, and they should not be bathed until at least one month old.

4. It’s time to take a bath for the first time in this life! Please note that the room temperature is warm, put in shallow, warm and comfortable water, let the kitten soak its feet, and get used to it before starting.

5. Comfort and talk to the kitten at the same time. Regardless of scrubbing or flushing, the action should be gentle to avoid irritating the eyes and choking the nose.

6. In short, before taking a bath for the first time, it is best for the owner to deduce the procedure, using gentleness and speed as the criteria, so that the kitten can have a pleasant experience, and at least make it feel non-threatening.

7. Trim the cat’s nails before washing them. The owner can wear clean gloves to prevent scratches, close the bathroom door, and confine the cat to a bathtub, a large bucket, or a corner to avoid running around.

8. Use a special rack for cat bathing. What an excellent invention! Put the cat in it, and it will not run around. You can easily and thoroughly wash the cat’s body. However, because the cat is confined in the rack, most of the time Calm down and stop resisting hysterically. It’s more convenient when taking a medicated bath!
