Kittens with poor heart conditions may have symptoms such as irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, lethargy, weight loss, and insufficient exercise tolerance. Symptoms such as panting, rapid heartbeat, and coughing usually begin after a short period of exercise. If the heartbeat is too fast, shock and death may occur. Cats with severe heart failure may suffer from hypoxia due to insufficient blood supply to the heart, resulting in frequent symptoms such as panting and mucosal hairpins.

Treatment methods for cat heart disease:

1. Feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy If idiopathic left ventricular hypertrophy has no obvious symptoms, lacks obvious left atrial dilation, and Sick cats with ventricular blood flow channel obstruction and severe arrhythmias do not require treatment. In contrast, acute pulmonary edema requires intravenous furosemide and oxygen therapy. For severe pulmonary edema, nitroglycerin can be used and low-sodium foods can be given.

2. There is currently no cure for feline restrictive cardiomyopathy. In case of heart failure, cardiotonic and diuretic drugs such as digitalis furosemide can be used for symptomatic first aid.
