Solutions for dogs that have eaten rat poison

1. Induce vomiting
We hold the dog with our hands, with its head down, and keep using both hands. The ground squeezes its stomach, causing it to spit out food scraps.

2. Water dilution

Use a large amount of water to dilute the toxins in the dog's body.

3. Take medicine

Use atropine sulfate to rescue dogs poisoned by rat poison. Use a 5ml syringe to draw 1-2ml of the drug, depending on the degree of poisoning, and inject it into the subcutaneous muscle, preferably the dog's neck.

4. Gastric lavage

Go to a pet hospital for gastric lavage. The prerequisite for gastric lavage is that the rat poison has been ingested within two hours. If the time exceeds, the drug has entered the blood and the effect of gastric lavage will not be great.

Consequences of dogs eating rat poison

1. When dogs accidentally eat this type of rat poison, they will vomit and vomit white. Symptoms include foaming, convulsions, difficulty breathing, depression, coughing, coma, rapid breathing, blood in the stool, and even suffocation.
