The Huskies originally came from the severe cold areas of the Arctic Circle. They are active and hardworking and are often used as working dogs. They play a great role in fighting cold and famine to capture food. It is a dog breed developed by the Samoyeds, the indigenous people of Siberia. Alert, strong, flexible, beautiful, noble and elegant, well-behaved and cute, with a very eye-catching appearance. Although the living environments are different, the two look very similar, and it is easy to get confused if you are not careful.

1. Height and body shape

Huskies: divided into three types, small 23-31 cm, medium 31-38 cm, large 38-48 cm. Samoyed: Adult male dogs are 53-60 cm; adult female dogs are 48-53 cm.

2. Facial features

Husky: Broad and flat, no longer than the length of the skull, slightly shorter. Pure Samoyed eyes are American almond-shaped. Samoyeds have smaller ears. Samoyed: There is a certain thickness, medium length and width, and the corners of the mouth are raised, as if smiling. Huskies are generally rounder than almonds. Huskies are larger than Samoyeds. The Samoyed's nose is smaller than that of the Huskies.

3. Coat

Eskimo: The inner coat is short and dense. The outer coat is straight but not curly, the long hair on the neck forms an obvious ring-shaped scarf, and the tail hair is long and fluffy. Samoyed: The undercoat is short and soft like wool, and the upper coat is thicker and longer. Grows perpendicular to the body but does not curl.
