The content of this article is purely personal. I hope it can bring some help to friends who are troubled by parvovirus.

I think most dog owners have experienced when they were troubled by parvovirus. They brought their dogs to the pet hospital, and the answer they got was: bring the dog to have the bottle removed every day, and the treatment costs 300 to 500 yuan a day~ After spending 2,000 to 3,000 yuan, I can only guarantee a 70% chance of cure. Okay, I want to talk about some earthly methods that I use to deal with small things. They are also earthly methods. Please don’t give up on your dog!

1. First of all, you need to know whether your dog has parvovirus and its characteristics:

1. The dog is listless, does not like activities, has no energy, has a loss of appetite, and does not drink water.

2. Symptoms of diarrhea, water, or even blood appear.

3. Vomiting appears, and the vomited substance is light yellow liquid.

When the above symptoms appear, what you should do is go to the pet hospital and buy a test strip. It is very cheap. Come back and test it yourself. Take the dog’s feces and put it on the test paper and wait for the result (it must be fresh feces, the first defecation in the morning) better).

2. Don’t panic when you determine that your dog has parvovirus. In fact, parvovirus is not terrible. The hospital cannot guarantee 100% cure because they do not have 100% patience. Just as you believe in yourself, you must also believe in your dog.

1. Need to prepare medicines:

Vitamin B6 (anti-vomiting), oxytetracycline (treating diarrhea), ancaricillin (antibacterial and antimicrobial), hydromaxin (antibacterial and antimicrobial), glucose granules (replenishing physical strength to prevent dehydration), domperidone (stimulating gastrointestinal function) power).

Syringes (buy 10 thick needles and 10 thin needles), physiological saline (replenishing water), and 84 disinfectant.

Note: The above drugs can be purchased in pharmacies.

2. What needs to be done:

Feed your dog one tablet of vitamin B6, one tablet of oxytetracycline, and one bottle of hydrochloric acid orally at 6 a.m. every day.

At 8 o'clock in the morning, feed the dog ancarcillin and inject a bottle of hydrochloric acid into the anus.

Feed your dog one tablet of Morphine at 12 noon.

Feed vitamin B6, oxytetracycline, and hydromycin every 6 hours.

Feed ancarcillin sodium every 12 hours and inject gentamicin into the anus once.

Feed domperidone every 24 hours.

3. The most important work that needs to be done: The reason why the dog’s life is taken away by parvovirus is that it dies from diarrhea and dehydration. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the dog is injected with glucose and normal saline with a syringe (needle) every 2 hours every day. It won't drink on its own. Dilute the glucose solution, a ratio of 1:100. (Or buy glucose injection directly) and inject it according to the age of the puppy. Generally, it is 200 ml of glucose and 200 ml of normal saline at a time. Suck them directly into the syringe, open the dog's mouth and insert them directly. Pay attention to once every 2 hours a day, this is a must, and the alarm clock must be set at night.

4. What we need to do next is observation: observe the dog’s stool and urine. If you persist in this way for 3-5 days, the dog will basically be able to recover. If you reduce the dosage appropriately and maintain it for 2-3 days, the dog will basically be able to eat. During the period of medication, the dog will not be given food. During these 3-5 days, it will be maintained on glucose and saline. I believe it will be fine.

5. The next thing we have to do is disinfect: use 84 disinfectant to disinfect the dog's nest three times a day. If a dog vomits every day, use 84 disinfectant after cleaning the place where the dog defecates. There are also places where dogs often go.

Okay, that’s all. As long as you do it this way, there’s basically no problem. What I’m talking about today is the popular method, because most breeders don’t know how to put up suspension bottles themselves or give infusions to their dogs. So I hope the experts understand.

To all dog lovers! 100% love, 100% patience, 100% confidence = 100% success. Believe in yourself and believe in your dog!
