Precautions after cat sterilization:

1. Cats are very vulnerable after sterilization. At this time, the owner must not change the cat’s familiar environment. Only when the cat is placed in a familiar place will it feel safe enough, because the cat's mood swings after surgery will affect the cat's physical recovery.

2. After sterilization, cats will generally be observed in the pet hospital for a period of time. After the sterilization operation, the pet hospital will usually let the cat lie flat in a cage or mat. At this time, the cat cannot be moved to change its lying position. This posture needs to be maintained for a period of time and can only be changed after the cat gradually wakes up.

3. Do not put the cat’s tongue in while the cat is still awake from anesthesia. Because the cat has been anesthetized, the whole body is loose, including the cat’s tongue. If it is stuffed into the mouth, the cat’s tongue may block the respiratory tract and cause suffocation.

4. The owner must give the cat a clean environment to recover from injuries, and keep the air fresh. If the environment is messy and dirty, it is easy to breed a lot of bacteria, which can easily cause infections after the cat is neutered.

Benefits of cat sterilization:

1. Cats will no longer be in estrus, and they will not exhibit various behaviors unique to the estrus period such as meowing and peeing randomly. Reduce the trouble caused to the owner.

2. Become more gentle. Due to changes in hormones in the body, cats tend to become more docile and less wild and aggressive.

3. Neutering can reduce the incidence of cat disease and make the cat healthier. Cats have different physiological structures, and estrus and childbirth may cause many diseases.
