The first stage: foster care period

45 days after the puppies are born, they are sent to the homes of caring volunteers for foster care, so that the puppies can learn how to get along with people while adapting to family life and social environment, and let the puppies know that humans are good friends they can trust. During this stage, puppies should be constantly exposed to new things, learn simple obedience commands, and gradually accept social training.

Second stage: training period

After the puppies are fostered until they are 12-14 months old, they will be returned to the base for 6 months of professional skills training. After passing the standards, they will be trained with the visually impaired for 3-4 weeks.

The third stage: service period

Qualified guide dogs will be delivered to suitable visually impaired people free of charge, with a service period of 8-10 years.

The fourth stage: retirement period

After the service period expires, the guide dogs will be sent to loving volunteer families or returned to the base for retirement.

A guide dog devotes almost its whole life to its owner. It can even be said that it is lonely and has lost the lively character of a dog.
