Keeping flower-twig rats poses very little harm to humans. The rat is a nocturnal animal and is used to sleeping during the day and being active at night. The rat will bite the cage and eat food at night, making very noisy noises that can easily affect people's rest. Squirrels tend to bite people before they are matured, but they get better after they are matured.

Precautions for raising chip rats:

1. Food. The squirrel's favorite food is mealworms. Human foods that are too high in salt and heavily flavored are prohibited from being fed to chipmunks.

2. Management. Squirrels are most afraid of heat, especially in summer. The sultry weather will make Squirrels breathless. You can use radiators, ice packs or marbles to cool down Squirrels.

3. Environment. Squirrels like to move. The cage for raising Squirrels should be large, and it is best to prepare some rollers in the cage for Squirrels to play with.

4. The reproductive capacity of squirrel rats is very strong. Do not keep female rats and male rats together.
