First of all, in terms of diet, we must follow the principle of eating less and eating more. Due to the petite size of Singaporean cats, feeding too much at one time will make them full at once, which is not good for their digestion. Generally speaking, healthy adult cats can control their food intake. If they are fed a lot, they will not eat it all at once, but wait until they are hungry before eating. However, kittens may not necessarily be able to control their own food intake.

Certain foods should not be fed, such as irritating foods such as pepper, mustard and foods containing spicy oil; foods that are too greasy; foods that are too cold or too hot are not suitable for it to eat. Also pay attention to the hardness of the food that Singaporean cats eat, because their amount of exercise will change the digestion and absorption capacity of the intestines and the filtration and detoxification capabilities of the liver and kidneys.

Secondly, they shed hair very seriously and need to be regulated in daily life. Singaporean cats are a cat breed with relatively long body hair and are prone to hair loss. This problem cannot be solved instantly. If hair loss occurs frequently, it means that they need to be given more vitamin-containing food, and they need to be fed regularly. Take them to bask in the sun, especially in winter. Cats under the warm sun must be very happy.

The care of the coat is also relatively simple. Just use a special hair care shampoo for short-haired cats to clean it. Basically, you don’t need a comb to comb the coat. If possible, you can choose to use silk to gently stroke and wipe the surface of the coat.

Finally, the indoor temperature should not be lower than 20℃. Singapore cats are short-haired cats, so they are very afraid of the cold. In addition, their physical fitness is relatively weak, and low temperatures will cause them to catch a cold.

Generally speaking, Singaporean cats are very suitable for raising in cities. Even in a small apartment, it is enough for them to "flex their muscles". They don't like to exercise and just like to stick to people, so there is no need to consider providing cats with A large area for them to exercise and play.

However, before you take them home, remember to block the flue and other spaces in your home that are easy to get into, otherwise they will be driven by strong curiosity to explore.
