Rabbits cannot recover from poisoning on their own and need treatment to have a certain chance of recovery. After rabbits are poisoned, symptoms such as salivation, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, convulsions, miosis, difficulty breathing, and limb paralysis will occur. After a rabbit is poisoned, it is necessary to take the rabbit to the hospital for gastric lavage and enema to allow the toxic substances to be quickly discharged from the rabbit's body. At the same time, the cause of the poisoning must be identified, and symptomatic medication can be used to quickly detoxify.

Causes of rabbit poisoning:

1. Pesticide poisoning. When feeding fruits and vegetables to rabbits, the pesticides on them were not washed away, causing the rabbits to accidentally eat the pesticides and become poisoned.

2. Spoiled food. Pay attention to the rabbit food and snacks that are fed to the rabbit within the shelf life. Do not feed the rabbit with expired food. The rabbit's gastrointestinal system is very weak and can easily lead to food poisoning in the rabbit.

3. Food poisoning. Chocolate, rapeseed, and eggplant can all cause poisoning in rabbits. Avoid these foods when feeding rabbits.
