Rabbits can bask in the sun after taking a bath, but they must wait until their hair is dry before they can bask in the sun. After bathing the rabbit, wipe it with a towel, dry the hair with a hair dryer, and then put it in the sun. This is to prevent the rabbit from catching a cold. Regular exposure to the sun is of great benefit to rabbit health. It can supplement calcium and improve rabbit immunity.

Precautions for rabbits to bask in the sun:

1. The rabbit needs to be placed in a place with relatively mild sunlight to bask in the sun to prevent the adverse effects of strong light on the hair.

2. Do not take rabbits out to bask in the sun in summer, as this can easily cause them to suffer from heat stroke and faint. When the temperature is high, you need to turn on the air conditioner to cool down the rabbit.

3. Don’t bask in the sun for too long each time, half an hour is enough. And avoid periods of high temperature.
