Hamsters in a litter cannot be bred. Hamsters in the same litter are born from the same father and mother. Breeding is inbreeding, which will increase the probability of hamster deformities, stillbirth rates, and some congenital diseases. When breeding hamsters, try to avoid blood relationships within five generations, so as to artificially avoid the possibility of congenital diseases.

How to breed hamsters

1. Place two hamsters of the opposite sex in two cages, next to each other and not touching each other. Observe over a few days to allow the two hamsters to become familiar with each other's scent.

2. When the breeder finds that the two hamsters are familiar with each other, they place the female hamster in the male hamster's cage. Continue to observe whether the two hamsters are fighting. If they are fighting, they should be separated and placed in different cages in time.

3. Repeat the above process. After a period of time, when the two hamsters no longer fight, they can be bred.

4. When the breeder observes that the male hamster is chasing the female hamster, it is about to mate. It will last for about 20-50 minutes. During this period, the breeder should not disturb them. When the mating is completed, they need to separate immediately. The two hamsters were placed back into the two cages.
