Why are pedigree cats expensive?

Pedigree cats are born from both parents being purebred cats. There are relatively few pedigree cats born with high breeding value and high demand in the market. Therefore, market prices remain high. Of course, there is also a more expensive double-blooded cat, that is, a cat whose parents are both purebreds.

So the so-called pedigree cats are actually specially bred by people in the past hundred years. The appearance of these cats is more in line with human aesthetics, or they are extremely beautiful, or very cute, but in fact these cats are due to people paying too much attention to them. The bloodline allows them to continue inbreeding, causing most of the bloodline cats to have serious genetic defects.

However, the appearance of some pedigree cats may not be as good as other cats. They are just pure breeds, so there is no need to go to great lengths to raise pedigree cats. Generally, as long as the cats raised are good-looking, the genetically inherited kittens will also be good-looking.
