Precautions for breeding tropical fish

In order to prevent the broodstock from swallowing the larvae, a separation wall can be set up in the larvae tank. There are three types of isolation walls:

The first one is to use plastic sheets to form a funnel and immerse it in the water. The parent fish are placed in the funnel. After giving birth, the fry enter the water body outside the funnel through the mouth hole of the funnel. The female fish There will be no more fry to swallow.

The second type of farrowing tank is a rectangular aquarium, and the partition wall can be made into a V shape. The bottom slips out of the gap, allowing the larvae to fall into the water tank.

The third method is to use a large square bag-shaped fishing net or make a small cage yourself, hang it at the mouth of the tank, immerse the net in the water, and place the broodstock fish that have given birth in the cage. The larvae fall from the mesh holes into the water outside the net.
