Causes of pimples and scabs on rabbits:

1. Trauma. Rabbits may be hit by some heavy objects or scratched by some sharp objects, or rabbits may fight among themselves in order to compete for living space and food, and may develop pimples and scabs on their bodies.

2. Fungal infection. For example, ringworm will form plaques and dandruff on the skin, and rabbits will develop pimples and scabs, accompanied by hair loss.

3. Mites. There are many places where mites are prone to occur. The areas around the eyes, ears, bridge of nose, chest, limbs, and trunk are all prone to mites. Generally, if a rabbit gets mites, the scabs on its body will not have regular shapes.

Solutions to pimples on rabbits:

1. After the owner discovers the pimples on the rabbit, touch it with your hands. If the rabbit has obvious pain or pimples, If there is suppuration or bleeding, it is usually caused by trauma and needs to be disinfected with alcohol or iodophor.

2. If the rabbit has pimples caused by fungal infection, you should supplement it with vitamins and use topical fungal drugs to smear the affected area on the rabbit every day.

3. If the rabbit has pimples caused by mites, the owner should deworm the rabbit in time and avoid scratching by the rabbit.
