Domestic crocodiles don’t recognize their owners. Because crocodiles are cold-blooded animals, even domestic pet crocodiles are very aggressive and will not have feelings for people. Secondly, crocodiles have very low IQ and cannot identify their owners. But when you feed them food, they will look like you. When you get close, sometimes you feel that it recognizes you. This is just a conditioned reflex formed during the feeding process.

How to raise small crocodiles:

1. Select a small crocodile with a body size of about 30cm to start feeding. The breeding box must be at least 1.5 meters long and set up for both land and water. The environment is more in line with the wild state of crocodiles. Crocodiles have strong climbing ability, so the breeding box should be smooth and deep enough, and should be covered after viewing to prevent the crocodile from climbing out of the box and causing harm to family members or other pets.

2. The food is mainly fish, shrimp, lean meat, beef, chicken breast, mealworms and other meats. Feed it once a day, and the food amount is based on 2/3 of the size of its head.

3. Crocodiles like meat. When fed live food, they hunt very ferociously. The older the crocodile grows, the more careful you have to be when feeding food to prevent the crocodile from biting your fingers.

4. Crocodiles like high-temperature environments. Place a heating lamp in the breeding box to keep the temperature between 32 and 33°C. Young crocodiles are more active, have a strong appetite, and are easier to grow up.
