How to raise anchovies:

1. Constant water temperature. Anchovies are tropical fish and like higher water temperatures. They can control the water temperature between 24-26°C.

2. Water quality is stable. Anchovies can grow better in slightly alkaline water, and breeders can keep the pH value between 7.2-7.4. They like clean and refreshing water quality. It is best for breeders to change the water every three days. The amount of water changed each time should be controlled to one-third of the total water volume. The temperature difference between the new water and the old water should not exceed 2°C.

3. Diversify feeding. Anchovies are not picky about food, and it is best for breeders to feed them a variety of foods. Animal feeds suitable for anchovies include brine shrimp, red worms, mealworms, water fleas, water lice, water earthworms, etc. Plant feeds suitable for anchovies include algae, aquatic plants, moss, turnips, vegetables, fruits, etc.

4. Sufficient space. The fins of anchovies are relatively long. When raising them artificially, you need to ensure that they have enough space to move around so that they can grow better.

Notes on raising anchovies:

1. Stable environment: Although anchovies do not have high requirements for a good environment, they are sensitive to changes in the environment and are artificially raised When growing, the water temperature and quality need to be kept stable so that they can grow better.

2. Regular disinfection: Anchovies are less resistant to disease. Keepers need to check their bodies regularly and sterilize and disinfect them regularly to prevent them from getting sick.

3. The stocking density should not be too high. Excessive anchovy density is not conducive to controlling water quality and can easily induce diseases. As the anchovies grow up, the density must be adjusted in time. You can change to a larger fish tank, or you can divert some of it to other fish tanks.
