Treatment methods for bubble disease in map fish:

1. Inflate. The water temperature should be controlled and stabilized so that the supersaturated oxygen in the water body can be emitted into the air.

2. Change the water. The main reason why map fish suffer from air bubble disease is because there is too much oxygen or ammonia in the water. Keepers need to change the water immediately to reduce the oxygen and ammonia content in the water. The metabolic rate of map fish is relatively high and the pollution to water quality is relatively serious, so the water quality will deteriorate faster. Breeders need to keep the filter on to slow down the deterioration of water quality.

3. Add salt. If the condition of the map fish is serious, coarse salt or oxytetracycline can be sprinkled into the fish tank to inhibit the growth of bacteria.

4. Add yellow powder. Air bubble disease in map fish often occurs in the chest, pelvic fins, abdomen and other parts. In severe cases, it can cause breathing difficulties, exophthalmos or even death of the map fish. Yellow powder needs to be added to the water.

5. Stop feeding. During the treatment period, feeding needs to be stopped and the water temperature must be kept constant to speed up their recovery.
