Squids will not recognize their owners, because squid are molluscs, they have no awareness of their owners, and they have low IQs. The reason why squids stay in the place where they are fed is because they think this place is safe, has enough food, and is suitable for survival.

Precautions for feeding squid:

1. Squid like a salty environment, so they need seawater with a salinity of about 30. Either too high or too low is harmful to squid. The pH value should be slightly alkaline, usually around 7.7 to 8.2.

2. Squid like to eat fish, shrimp, plankton and other foods, so they need to be fed regularly and pay attention to changing the water frequently during the feeding period.

3. Squid can be kept in an aquarium for up to 4 months after hatching. When raising broodstock for spring breeding, the longest breeding period is also 4 months.
