Factors for pigeons’ reduced appetite:

1. Temperature factor. Pigeons are particularly sensitive to temperature changes. When the temperature rises, the pigeons will find it difficult to tolerate it. The thick hair on their bodies makes them very irritable, causing the pigeons' appetite to decrease.

2. Abnormal digestive system. When pigeons have problems with their gastrointestinal tract, their digestive conditions will deteriorate, leading to a loss of appetite.

3. Food palatability is not good. If the owner feeds the food that the pigeons do not like to eat or is not suitable for the pigeons to eat, it will cause the pigeons to have a poor appetite.

4. Disease factors. Pigeons suffering from diseases such as coccidiosis and trichomonas can also cause a loss of appetite.

5. Emotional factors. Pigeons like to be accompanied by their owners or partners. If they are left alone for a long time, their mood will be very low and depressed, and their appetite will decrease.

6. Newcastle disease. Pigeons infected with Newcastle disease will also not like to eat. The main symptoms of Newcastle disease include loss of appetite, listlessness, anorexia and thirst for water.
