The correct way to raise Chinese and American lizards:

1. Prepare the lizard’s activity area. To raise a pet lizard in a tank, you need to prepare a container with a larger volume. At least one side of the container should be 2.5 times the length of the lizard. This can be prepared according to the size of the pet lizard. Put some rocks and some sand in the container, and plant some plants to give the lizard a place to hide and rest.

2. Prepare enough food. Different species of lizards can be determined based on the food habits of the lizard. Most lizards eat meat, so you can prepare them with insects such as cockroaches, mealworms, and earthworms sold in the market.

3. Suitable environment. Lizards are cold-blooded animals and are relatively sensitive to temperature. It is very important to keep the surrounding temperature suitable. Try to maintain the temperature above 20 degrees. In winter, you can also use lights or heat pads to adjust the temperature to prevent lizards from hibernating.
