1. Suitable environment

2. Sufficient light

Red iguanas need to receive 8 to 10 hours of light every day. If UVB absorption is not enough every day, red iguanas will suffer from calcium deficiency and will also suffer from calcium deficiency. Poor appetite, lack of energy, and poor skin peeling are bad for your health. And you cannot bask in the sun through glass. It is recommended to buy a better UVB lamp.

3. Bath on time

The red iguana also needs to be bathed 3 to 4 times a week. The water temperature should not be too low or too high. It should be around 35 degrees. Put your hand in and touch it. This is just warm. Water baths can stimulate red iguanas to defecate. Their feces are very smelly and will smell very bad in the home.

4. Choose suitable food

Red iguanas are vegetarians. When feeding, note that they mainly eat leaves, flowers and fruits of plants, as well as vegetables, fruits and other foods. If your red iguana is deficient in calcium, you can feed it calcium powder to supplement it.

5. It is best to use cold boiled water for drinking.

6. Breeding in a fish tank
