Causes and solutions for yellow discharge in cats:

1. Upper respiratory tract infection: usually caused by viral or bacterial infection, often accompanied by other symptoms such as coughing and sneezing. Give appropriate treatment, including oral or injected antibiotics, and strengthen nutrition and care.

2. Nasal cavity problems: such as foreign bodies entering the nasal cavity, nasal polyps, allergies, drug reactions, etc. Go to the veterinarian for a detailed examination, medication, surgery to remove the foreign body, or treat allergies.

3. Dental problems: tooth root infection, which then affects the nasal cavity. Go to the veterinarian for examination and treatment, and if necessary, root canal treatment or tooth extraction.

4. Tear duct obstruction: If the tear duct is blocked, tears will not be discharged normally, causing an increase in nasal secretions. The tear ducts can be massaged with the help of a veterinarian, or surgical treatment can be performed.

5. It may be caused by infection with feline nasal bronchus. This is an acute upper respiratory tract infectious disease and you should seek medical treatment immediately.

6. It may be caused by smelling a pungent smell in the air or inhaling a large amount of dust. The owner should change the cat's environment immediately.
